Ornitološki rezervat ( otok Prvić i sjeveroistočni strmi dio obale otoka Krka) je najsjevernije stanište bjeloglavih supova u obalnom pojasu. Bjeloglavi sup je rijetka vrsta naše faune, spolnu zrelost dostigne tek u petoj ili šestoj godini života, a ženka snese jedva jedno do dva jajeta.

Auf der Insel Krk gibt es Heilschlamm, genauer gesagt an der Westseite der Bucht Klimno. Der Strand ist seicht und für Familien mit Kindern geeignet. Es ist interessant, dass der Strand hundert Meter zu Fuß gehen kann und das Meer immer noch knietief ist! Gerade deshalb ist es bei jungen Leuten beliebt. Es bietet die Möglichkeit, Spaß zu haben… von Picigin auf dem Meer bis zum Beachvolleyball. Es gibt nämlich zwei Volleyballplätze am Strand sowie ein Fußballfeld. Viele sind mit der Wirkung des Heilschlamms auf der eigenen Haut zufrieden und kommen daher gerne wieder. Dieser Heilschlamm wird besonders zur Behandlung von Gicht eingesetzt.
Das ornithologische Reservat (die Insel Prvić und der nordöstliche steile Teil der Küste der Insel Krk) ist der nördlichste Lebensraum der Gänsegeier im Küstengürtel. Gänsegeier sind eine seltene Art unserer Fauna, sie werden erst im fünften oder sechsten Lebensjahr geschlechtsreif, und das Weibchen legt kaum ein bis zwei Eier.
